About ARQ Electrical Contractors

ARQ Electrical is a family owned business formed in 2007 by Brodie and Heidi McDonald.

Brodie holds a dual trade and is a qualified Electrician and Refrigeration Mechanic with more than 20 years’ experience in the electrical and construction industries.

Prior to starting his business in 2007, Brodie had a vast array of work experience in all facets of electrical including projects such as the Gold Coast University Hospital; Amberley RAAF base, and MRTT runway taxi-way upgrades; QGC Operations Centre Chinchilla; Condamine Power Station; Woleebee Creek Aquifer Injection Plant; and Ruby Jo Camp Village HV & Transformer installation.

He is often engaged by other leading electrical businesses to undertake specialised works including, BHP South Flank project.

Brodie is involved in all aspects of every project; overseeing and collaboratively working with supervisors, other trades and clients to ensure ARQ Electrical provides the best possible service.

His wife, Heidi, is a qualified bookkeeper and BAS agent who provides business and administration support to ARQ Electrical and others.
